1. How rates are set
Rates on this site are all-in, covering linehaul, fuel surcharge and standard dock handling. Final weight, dimensions and freight class follow actual measurement at pickup; if they differ from the declaration, the final freight is re-rated on the measured figures. Pricing assumes a standard 40 × 48 in pallet; overhang up to 2 in beyond the pallet edge is free. Beyond 2 in, freight is re-measured at its outermost dimensions, which may change the class and the price — the difference is borne by the customer.
2. Accessorial charges
The following charges are not included in the all-in rate and are payable by the customer when incurred. Any reference range is an estimate for planning only and is not a cap or a floor; the final amount follows the carrier invoice and the actual service performed. Where no reference range is shown, the actual carrier charge applies.
- Reweigh and remeasure difference. If the carrier reweighs the freight, remeasures its dimensions or re-determines its freight class at pickup or in transit and the actual figures differ from the declaration, freight is re-rated on the actual figures and the difference is borne by the customer. If the carrier also charges an inspection fee, the reference range is about $15–$40 per shipment, with the final amount per the carrier invoice.
- Oversize and overlength difference. Pricing assumes a standard 40 × 48 in pallet, and overhang up to 2 in beyond the pallet edge is free. Beyond 2 in, freight is remeasured at its outermost length, width and height. If any side exceeds the carrier standard, or volume or density triggers a re-rating, the actual carrier charge applies.
- Pickup liftgate service. Charged when the pickup location has no dock, forklift or similar equipment and a liftgate vehicle is needed to raise the freight from the ground into the vehicle. Reference range: about $75–$260 per occurrence, with the actual carrier charge applying.
- Delivery liftgate service. Charged when the delivery location has no dock, forklift or similar equipment and a liftgate is needed to lower the freight from the vehicle to the ground. Reference range: about $75–$260 per occurrence, with the actual carrier charge applying.
- Detention. Charged when the driver arrives at the agreed time and loading or unloading exceeds the free waiting time because the freight is not ready, there is a queue, loading or unloading is slow, documents are incomplete, or the consignee does not receive promptly. Reference range: about $50–$100 per hour, with the actual carrier charge applying.
- Dry run. Charged when a driver has been dispatched or has arrived at pickup but cannot load because the freight is not ready, the facility is closed, the address is wrong, the pickup is cancelled, or for a similar reason. Reference range: about $150–$400 per occurrence, with the actual carrier charge applying.
- Layover. Charged when the shipper or consignee causes the driver to be unable to complete loading or unloading on the same day and the driver must wait overnight. Reference range: about $150–$350 per night, with the actual carrier charge applying.
- Appointment and notification service. Charged when the consignee requires delivery on a specified date or in a specified time window, or requires the carrier to call ahead and confirm the receiving time. Reference range: about $25–$100 per occurrence, with the actual carrier charge applying.
- Residential address service. Charged when a pickup or delivery address is a residence, home office or other non-standard commercial location and the carrier must arrange a suitable vehicle, extra labor or extra time. Reference range: about $90–$250 per occurrence, with the actual carrier charge applying.
- Limited-access location service. Charged when a pickup or delivery location is a school, construction site, storage facility, trade show, farm, military area or another location requiring check-in, security screening, restricted entry hours or special access. Reference range: about $85–$225 per occurrence, with the actual carrier charge applying.
- Inside delivery. Standard handover is at the dock, doorway or rear of the vehicle. Charged when the customer requires freight to be carried into a room, yard, upper floor, basement or another designated position. Reference range: from about $85–$200 per occurrence; distance, floors, piece count and time beyond the standard range are charged at the actual carrier amount.
- Driver loading and unloading assistance. Standard transport does not include the driver personally handling freight. Charged when the customer requires the driver to help load, unload, break down pallets or count freight, or when third-party loading labor must be used on site. Reference range: from about $75–$250 per occurrence; third-party labor is charged at the actual receipt amount.
- Redelivery. Charged when the first delivery cannot be completed because no one receives the freight, the freight is refused, the address or phone number is wrong, the facility is closed, or for a similar reason, and another delivery trip is required. Reference range: about $75–$300 per occurrence; extra mileage, waiting or storage is charged at the actual amount.
- Reconsignment. Charged when the delivery address, contact or delivery location is changed after dispatch, or the freight is redirected to another facility. The actual carrier charge applies, together with any freight difference from the added mileage.
- Storage after a failed delivery. Charged when freight has arrived but cannot be delivered because no one receives it, the consignee cannot be reached, or the consignee gives no delivery arrangement, and the freight must be held at a carrier terminal or warehouse. The actual carrier charge applies.
- Weekend, holiday and after-hours service. Charged when the customer requires pickup, delivery, loading or unloading outside the carrier or facility’s regular business hours. The actual carrier charge applies.
- Extra stop. Charged when a pickup or delivery location is added after the order is confirmed. Reference range: about $150–$200 per stop, plus any freight difference from the added mileage, with the actual carrier charge applying.
- Repalletizing and restacking. Charged when freight leans, breaks up, is inverted, is inadequately wrapped or has damaged packaging and cannot be transported safely, and must be restacked, placed on a new pallet, rewrapped or repacked. Reference range: about $50–$115 per pallet, settled on actual labor and materials. See the Pallet & Loading Guide.
- Cargo insurance. If the customer selects cargo insurance at booking, the premium is fixed at 0.5% of the declared cargo value and is added directly to the order total. Freight without selected cargo insurance carries no cargo insurance.
- Other actual extra charges. Other charges actually imposed by the carrier or a third party because of a customer request or actual conditions on site are charged at the actual amount. Truck100 will itemize the reason and amount in the order’s charge records.
An added service that the customer selected at booking and that is expressly included in the selected rate will not be charged twice. Services added after transport begins, services actually performed on site, and charges arising because declared conditions do not match site conditions are settled under this section.
3. Collection authorization
By accepting the Shipping Notice you authorize Truck100 to collect the above charges from your linked bank account or account balance. Before each collection we email a notice stating the amount and reason to your primary and backup addresses. All collections are itemized on your order page.
4. Pickup and delivery cooperation
The platform accepts orders 365 days a year; pickup dates follow the actual business hours of the shipping and receiving facilities. Weekend and holiday pickups require confirmed facility hours and are subject to actual capacity. Freight must be packed and documented before pickup, and the consignee must be present in the agreed window. All pickups use the Truck100 bill of lading (generated on the order page, 4 copies); the order number is the master number for the whole shipment.
5. Damage and loss
Truck100 is a transport booking and coordination platform. It does not itself carry freight and is not an insurer. If the customer has not added cargo insurance and freight is lost or damaged in transit, Truck100 does not bear liability for the cargo loss. We will help the customer prepare claim documents, submit the claim to the actual motor carrier and follow up. Whether a claim is paid, and in what amount, is determined by the actual carrier under its carriage terms, the actual loss and the claim documents.
Basic carrier liability is not full-value compensation. It is usually calculated as the weight of the lost or damaged freight multiplied by a per-pound liability limit, subject to a maximum limit per shipment. For new goods, about $1–$5 per pound is common, and some carriers or higher freight classes can reach $25 per pound. For used, refurbished or resold goods, the limit can be as low as $0.10 per pound. A maximum liability of $100,000 per shipment is common, but limits vary widely by carrier and by the terms of the specific shipment, and the actual carrier’s terms for that shipment control.
To claim, the customer must provide the cargo invoice, packing list, cargo photos, damage photos, delivery receipt and similar documents. Visible damage to the packaging or freight must be noted on the delivery receipt at delivery. For high-value freight, or freight with a high value per pound, we recommend adding cargo insurance at booking; the premium is 0.5% of the declared cargo value.
6. Cancellation and changes
Free cancellation before dispatch. After dispatch, incurred charges such as dry-run fees are billed as incurred.
7. Prohibited goods and truthful declaration
Drugs and other contraband, illegal goods, and undeclared hazardous materials are strictly prohibited. Cargo nature must be declared truthfully; liquids and goods that may leak or contaminate must be declared in writing in advance and packed leak-proof. Consequences of concealment or misdeclaration are borne by the customer, including contamination damage to other freight and the vehicle, fines and claims, and costs of refusal or return of the whole shipment. Truck100 may refuse contraband and report it to the authorities; all legal liability rests with the customer.
8. Payment fees
- Smaller orders from customers in China (Alipay / WeChat Pay): suitable for small and medium orders from customers in China. The customer pays the CNY amount shown on the page; settlement is converted to USD automatically with no extra fee to the customer. Whether a payment succeeds, and the amount available per transaction, depend on the customer’s Alipay or WeChat account, the bank card linked to it and cross-border payment limits. If payment fails or the order amount is large, use bank wire instead. (Applies once online payment is enabled.)
- Large orders from customers in China (bank wire): full-truckload and large orders should be paid by bank wire. Business customers remit from their company bank account; individuals follow their bank’s foreign-exchange purchase and cross-border remittance requirements. Remit in USD; the remitter bears their bank's fees. Shortfalls must be topped up before booking. Wire details are provided on the order page after a rate is selected; put the order number in the memo and email truck100com@gmail.com after wiring.
- Offline payment (contact us): if none of the above works for you, or you need help paying, email truck100com@gmail.com with your order number. We will tell you which offline methods are available — bank wire, ACH transfer, Payoneer or prepaid balance — and help you complete the payment.
- Prepaid balance: customers in China may top up in advance by offline bank wire — contact us to arrange it. Balances are credited at the amount actually received. Later freight and accessorial charges can be deducted from the balance, avoiding repeated wires.
- Linked US bank account payment: customers who hold a real US bank account may pay through a linked account with no fee; linking an account authorizes collection of later accessorial charges per these Terms. This site does not accept credit cards. Business customers who hold a US account through a platform such as XTransfer or a Payoneer USD account may pay us by ACH transfer to the ACH routing and account number shown on the order page, settled on the amount actually received. Such platform accounts can only send payments initiated by the customer; they cannot be debited by us.
- Payoneer payment: business customers who already have a Payoneer business account may pay us through Payoneer. Payoneer deducts a fee of 1.2% of the payment amount — for example, a $1,000 payment arrives as $988, $1,500 as $1,482, and $2,000 as $1,976. Orders are settled on the amount actually received; any shortfall must be topped up before booking. Payoneer receiving details are provided after the order is confirmed.
- All prices are in USD; conversion differences follow the actual charged amount.
9. Balance top-up
- Offline top-up by bank wire or similar channels is free — contact us at truck100com@gmail.com. Customers who hold a US bank account may also top up online through a linked account, free of charge. (Applies once the relevant feature is enabled.)
- Offline top-ups are credited at the amount actually received, as channel fees vary.
- Top up early: insufficient balance prevents booking and dispatch, and last-minute top-ups may delay shipment.
- Refunds: balances for unshipped orders are refundable. For shipped orders, remaining balances are refunded 20 days after the last delivery, once all rate differences and accessorial charges are settled.
